A Different Translation of Genesis: Chapter 8

And Deity-One of Divine Nature was mindful of Rest-Noah and each living one and each of the cattle-livestock that was with him in the chest-coffer and Deity-One of Divine Nature had caused to pass a spirit-a wind over the earth-land and the waters calmed-soothed.  8:1

And the place of fountains of masses of raging waters were dammed up-shut up  and crevasses from the direction of the sky are being restrained, the downpour from the skies.  8:2  And the waters had returned again flowing over the land-country, restoring the waters, a slowing from the end of a hundred and fifty days. 8:3 And the chest-coffer rested in the seventh month on the seventeenth day of the month by-against the free-born-mountains-nobles-of Ararat-[Urartu?]. 8:4

And the waters began to diminish-calm until the tenth month-new moon in the tenth on the first of month the heads-leaders of the free-born-mountains-nobles showed themselves. 8:5

And forty days ended and Rest-Noah opened the window-the piercing of the chest-coffer that he made. 8:6

And he cast out a raven-crow and it came-went to go-to come to return, evidence to withered up the rivers from-above the country-land. 8:7

And he also cast out a dove-pigeon with him to see if it had been smoothed, the waters upon the surface of the country-fields. 8:8

And it found no place of rest-security for the sole of its feet and it returned to him to the chest-coffer, indeed/certainly waters on the surface of all the land-country, and he put out his hand and took it and brought it to him to the chest-coffer. 8:9 And he delayed yet seven days another in addition to cast out the dove-pigeon from the chest-coffer. 8:10 And it came to him, the dove-pigeon, a time of evening and look! A leaf of an olive newly plucked in its beak and Rest-Noah recognized the waters had been made smooth over the land-country. 8:11 And he waited-hoped for seven days again and sent it out-let loose the dove-pigeon and it did not return to him again. 8:12

And it existed in six hundred and one years, in day one of month one the waters had laid waste upon the land-country and Rest-Noah removed a covering of the chest-coffer and he observed and indeed they were laid waste, the surface of the ground-field. 8:13 And in the second month and twenty seventh day of the month the land-country was gone. 8:14

And he spoke Deity-One of Divine Nature to Rest-Noah saying-commanding. 8:15

"Go forth from the chest-coffer, you and your wife and your sons-peoples and the wives of your sons-peoples with you. 8:16 Each living one that with you from all of flesh-common man, fowls and cattle-livestock and all moving ones that move on the land-country exit, bring forth with you swarming-herding over the land-country and were fruitful and were multiplied upon the land-country. 8:17"

And Rest-Noah exited and his peoples-sons and his wife and the wives of his of his peoples-sons with him. 8:18 Each living one, each moving-herding one, each fowl each moving-herding upon the land-country according to family-clan of them they exited out of the chest-coffer. 8:19

And Rest-Noah built an altar-place of slaughter to Jehovah and he took from all the clean cattle-livestock and from all the clean fowl and he went up a whole burnt sacrifice upon the altar-place of slaughter. 8:20

And Jehovah breathed a breath of the restful and Jehovah said in his heart-understanding:

"I will not do again to diminish the ground-field on account of the Adam-Human, never mind the malignant purpose of the Adam-Human heart from his juvenility and I will not add further I will not smite each living one as I did. 8:21 Furthermore all the days-times of the land-country, sowing and harvest, and cold and heat, and awakening-summer and beginning of winter, and day and night will not shabath-rest. 8:22"

A Different Translation of Genesis: Chapter 7

And Jehovah made known to Rest-Noah [the individual/the city], “Go you, you and all your house-family into the chest-coffer, for you I have observed, a just one-a keeper of laws in my presence in this present time-dwelling. 7:1

  • Of every clean-pure to eat/sacrifice cattle-livestock you must select for you seven-sworn-satisfied, seven-sworn-satisfied male and its female,
    • and from the cattle-livestock not clean-pure to eat/sacrifice a male and its female. 7:2
  • And of the fowl of the heavens-skies seven-sworn-satisfied, seven-sworn-satisfied male and female to revive prospering life a seed-offspring on behalf of presence of all the land-country. 7:3

That yet seven-sworn-satisfied days I will cause to rain down on the land-country forty days and forty nights to exterminate all those which rose up that I fashioned-built from presence of ground-region. 7:4"

And Rest-Noah [the person/city] fashioned-built all which Jehovah instructed him. 7:5

Rest-Noah [the city] a son-people of six hundred years and the inundation it would become waters upon the country-land. 7:6

The region of Mount Ararat is on the Eastern shore of the Black Sea
See Genesis 6

Rest-Noah [the individual] is entering (and his sons-peoples and his wife and wives of his sons-peoples with him) into the chest-coffer from presence of waters of inundation. 7:7 Of-from the clean-pure to eat cattle-livestock and of-from not clean to eat/sacrifice cattle-livestock and of-from the fowl and all from which moving on the ground-region. 7:8  Two-repeat-change two-repeat-change they came to Rest-Noah [the individual] to the chest-coffer male and female as which Deity-One of Divine Nature instructed Rest-Noah [the individual/city]. 7:9 And it came to pass after seven-sworn-satisfied days and waters of inundation they came to pass on the land-country. 7:10
In the six hundredth year of lives of city Rest-Noah in the second month in the seventeenth day-daylight of the month, that same day, all of the fountains-bowels of irrigation-a mass of raging water were broken open-breached the river's strong depths and the sluice gates of the heavens-skies were opened. 7:11 And it came about a rain on the land-earth forty days-daylights and forty nights. 7:12

In this very day Rest-Noah [the individual] entered, and Rest's-Noah's sons-peoples Name-Shem and Hot-Ham and Widely-Extending-Japheth and Rest's-Noah's wife and his sons'-peoples' three wives with them, into the chest-coffer. 7:13

They and whole of the living thing after its kind-nation and whole of the domestic animals for their kind-nation and whole of the moving ones, the moving ones over the land-country for their kind-nation, and whole of the fowl for their kind-nation of whole bird of all of wing. 7:14

And they entered with Rest-Noah [the individual] into the chest-coffer, two-repeat two-repeat between-amongst the whole of flesh-common man which in him was spirit-wind of lives-living ones7:15

And the male and female of all flesh-common man moved towards, they moved towards as Deity gave instructions to him, and Jehovah is shutting for-about him. 7:16 And it came to be, the inundation of water, forty days on the land-country and the waters became progressively greater and lifted up-forgave the chest-coffer and it was exalted-offered up as sacrifice over the land-country. 7:17

And the waters were strengthened greatly quickly over the land-country, and the chest-coffer is moving over the waters' surface. 7:18 And the waters were strengthened greatly, quickly over the land-country and they were completely covered, the whole of the high-arrogant nobles-mountains-ziggurats that were in the parts underneath-beneath-of lower status, all of the heavens-skies. 7:19 Fifteen cubits [approx. 22ft] the waters advanced in height and were strengthened and the nobles-mountain-ziggurats were completely covered-hidden. 7:20 And [concealed] all flesh-common man-blood relations breathed out their lives, those moving on the land-country, among-along with the flying one, and among-along with the cattle-livestock, and among-along with the living one, and among-along with all of the moving-herding one, the one moving-herding about the land-country and whole of-from the lineage Adam-man. 7:21 Whole-all which the breath of the living wind-spirit of-from living ones in the nostrils-anger from whole-all that in that which is desolate-dry-dry land came to an end through death. 7:22 And he wiped out every of the standing thing-one risen up which on the surface of the ground-field from lineage of Adam-Human to cattle-livestock to moving-herding and to fowl of heavens-skies and they were wiped from the land-country and Rest-Noah is remaining only and those with him in the chest-coffer. 7:23 And the waters strengthened over the land-country one hundred and fifty days-daylights. 7:24
