A Different Translation of Genesis: Chapter 2

And they were prepared, the skies and the land-earth and all inhabitants of them. 2:1

Deity accomplished-made an end of all his work-property which he fashioned-formed by the seventh daylight-time. 

And Deity accomplished-made an end of all work-property which he had done in that the seventh daylight-day-time^yom. 2:2

Deity blessed the seventh, he set it apart because in it he accomplished-made an end of all work-possession which Deity-Master of All Power created-fashioned to fashion-form, 2:3 these lists of histories of the skies and of the land when, there, being created-fashioned in a time by Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power, to fashion-prepare the land and the skies. 2:4

And any mediation of the empire, before it was existing in the land, and all flourishing of the plains, before it was springing up because Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power before he had caused gentle and beneficent rule-righteousness to be sent down upon the land.

And before Adam to serve the land. 2:5 

And an inundation-veil-protection rose up above the land in order to irrigate-to give to drink all the area of the land. 2:6 

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power formed-fashioned-shaped the Adam from the multitude-scattered of the earth and he was blowing the spirit of renewal on the face, the Adam became-existed a revived life. 2:7

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power established-set in place an enclosed garden in Pleasure afore-time, he was transforming the Adam there, which he fashioned-formed. 2:8

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power caused to spring up away from the land, separate from every counsel being desired-coveted because of revelation as appropriate for making one whole, 

Even the counsel of the Living One in the middle of the enclosed garden,

(because of ^{adversatively} a counsel of the divination of auspicious and evil/ill-omened.) 2:9

And a illumination-stream-crowd went out from Pleasure-Eden to water-to furnish drink-to open the eyesto the enclosed garden and from there it was being divided-separated and became four sources-leaders. 2:10 The name of the first “Increase-Overflowing” to water-to furnish drink-to open the eyesthe one covering-going about-turning the course of things all of land, land of the “Circle” In which there the precious metal. 2:11 And golden splendor of the land, that pleasant, there the pearl and the stone of onyx. 2:12 And the name of the second stream-crowd-cohort, “Bursting Forth,” it the one covering-going about-turning the course of thingsall of land of “Black.” 2:13 And the name of the third stream-crowd-cohort, “Rapid,” it the one going east of “A Step” and the fourth Stream-crowd-cohort, “Fruitfulness.” 2:14

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power took-received the Adam, he was setting him as part of a pledge in enclosed garden of “Pleasure-Abundance” to giveLeviticalservicefor her and to have charge of her. 2:15 

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power commandedthe man-human, to say, “Of any counsel of the enclosed garden, to eat-consume, you will eat-consume. 2:16 

But from counsel of ^{adversatively} the discernment-discovery of propitious-auspicious and dire-evil/ill-omened, you will not be eating of it. Because from that, in time of you to eat of it, to be worthy of death, you will be worthy of death. 2:17

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power spoke, “Not pleasant for the Adam in separation, I will prepare for him one who helps in the presence of. 2:18

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power had molded-formed some from the land-ground of whosoever of living thing of the plains. 

Of every winged creature of the sky he was gathering to the Adam to distinguish what he would categorize and all that the man the willful life he was categorizing that was the designation. 2:19 And the Adam was proclaiming a category for all cattle and to all flying creatures of the sky and living ones of the plains 

and-but for the Adam he found not a helper corresponding. 2:20 

And Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power caused to fall a trance upon the Adam of a long time. 

And he took out one from the side chambers. And he had fortified-enclosed mankind-common man in a surround. 2:21 Jehovah Deity-Master of All Power built the side chamber.” 

That one he was selecting for the Adam, for a wife and was bringing to the Adam. 2:22 

The Adam spoke, “This one bodily form of my bodily form, kin of my kin, she will be proclaimed a wife because for a husband she was taken, this one. 2:23 On this account then a male will leave behind his father and his mother and have stayed with his wife, they will become one kin. 2:24 

The Adam and his wife were prudent-naked as students and were not shaming themselves before one another. 2:25

Commentary

Introduction

As you can see this translation changes drastically our way of understanding human origins and the development of society.  

Also the "tree-Counsel" in the Garden and the one outside the Garden are juxtaposed.  The one in the center of the Garden is supposed to be eaten.  The other is not to be eaten.
