A Different Translation of Genesis: Chapter 9

And Deity-One of Divine Nature blessed-caused to prosper Rest-Noah and his sons-peoples and he commanded them, “You must bear-disperse and you must become numerous and you must fill the land-country." 9:1 

"And a reverence for you and a brokenness-dread for you will be greater than for each living one of the earth-land and greater than for each fowl of the sky-heavens and greater than for each that move-herd on the ground-field and greater than for the fish of the sea." 9:2 

"Each moving-herding one that it is a sustenance-an appetite for you it will be for you a food just as herbs, green plants, I gave into your custody each one." 9:3

"Surely flesh-common man with a living soul a slaughter you must not slay. 9:4 Indeed the slaughter of your living soul I will demand-require from your hand, from each living one I will demand-require, and from the hand of each the human-Adam, from the hand of a male of his brother I will demand-require a living soul from the human-Adam." 9:5 

"One pouring out blood-slaughtering of the human-Adam, by the human-Adam a blood-slaughter will be poured out because in image of Deity-One of Divine Nature he fashioned the human-Adam." 9:6

"And you, you must go swiftly, you must increase-multiply in the earth-land and you must grow, live in it." 9:7

And Deity-One of Divine Nature spoke to Rest-Noah and to his sons-peoples commanding: 9:8

"And I, Watch me! Confirming-Establishing conditions of a covenant-a covenant of me with you and with your offspring following you. 9:9

“And with each of breathing-soul of the living one that with you, the fowl, the livestock-cattle, and the living one of the earth-land with you of each going forth of the chest-coffer each living one of the earth-land." 9:10 

"And I am confirming-establishing my conditions of a covenant-a covenant with you and will not cut off each flesh-common man again by the waters of the inundation and there will not be again an inundation to ruin-destroy the earth-land.” 9:11 

And Deity-One of Divine Nature is saying, “This omen-portent of the conditions of a covenant-a covenant which I give-employ between me and you and breathing-soul each of the living one that is with you for offspring forever." 9:12 

"My bow I gave in the cloud and it will become for an omen-portent of a conditions of a covenant-a covenant between me and between the earth-land." 9:13

"And it will be in my cloud over-against the earth-land and it will appear, the bow in the cloud. 9:14 And I am-will remember(ing) my conditions of a covenant-covenant which between me and between you and between each breathing one, a living one in each flesh-common man and it will not become again the waters of an inundation to destroy each flesh-common man. 9:15 And it will be the bow in the cloud, and I will see it to remember-bring to mind the conditions of a covenant-a covenant lasting forever between Deity-One of Divine Nature and each breathing one, living one each flesh-common man which upon the earth-land.” 9:16 

And Deity-One of Divine Nature said to Rest-Noah, “This, the omen-portent of the conditions of covenant-the covenant which I confirmed-established between me and each flesh-common man that is on the earth-land.” 9:17 

And they were the sons-peoples of Rest-Noah who exited the chest-coffer: Name-Shem and Hot-Ham and Widely Extending-Japheth. 

And Hot-Ham, he, the father-originator of Humiliated-Canaan. 9:18 

Three, these sons-peoples of Rest-Noah. And because of these all of the earth-land it was entered into [an oath-covenant]. 9:19 

And Rest-Noah was profaned-was violated-was desecrated.

A man of the ground-field, he planted-established a vineyard. 9:20 And he drank as part of sacrificial feast (Deuteronomy 32:38) of the drink offering and he received stipend of priest.

And he was removed-driven out from the middle of tent-tabernacle of him. 9:21 

And he, Hot-Ham, father-originator of Humiliated-Canaan, looked to-looked upon the nakedness of his father-originator and he told his two brothers-countrymen in outside-street.  9:22 

And Name-Shem accepted the mantle and Widely Extending-Japheth and they are placing it upon both shoulder-on back and they followed after again.  And they concealed-covered over the shame-dishonor of their father.  And their presence again and the shame-dishonor of their father they did not look after-give attention. 9:23 

And Rest-Noah awoke himself-roused-quickly became active from his sacrificial banquet and he recognized what-had been done-fashioned to him by his son-people the younger one. 9:24 

And he said, “He having been cursed-having become an object of pity. Humiliated-Canaan a servant of servants he will become to his brothers-countrymen.“ 9:25 

And he said, “Being blessed, Jehovah the Deity-One of Divine Nature of Name-Shem. And may he, Humiliated-Canaan, a servant to him. 9:26 And Deity-One of Divine Nature will be widely spreading Widely Extending-Japheth.” And he dwelt-tabernacled in the tent-tabernacle of Name-Shem and Humiliated-Canaan was the servant to him. 9:27 

And city-state Rest-Noah a village-nomadic encampment after the inundation three hundred and fifty years. 9:28 And existed all the days of city-state Rest-Noah nine hundred and fifty years and it perished. 9:29
